Biography[]

Background information[]

Pawnee Killer was small as a boy and described as the "runt of the litter" by his father. He was teased by the other boys and as a result, he got into a lot of fights. He never backed down from a fight and that "made him a great warrior, but not a great man". ("Timshel")

Season 1[]

Main article: Season 1

He leads a group of Cheyenne warriors in a raid on the Union Pacific Railroad's advance surveying team. They massacre the team but a sole survivor, Lily Bell, manages to kill Sun Bear and escape with the maps. ("Pilot")

He continued to track Lily and warns Joseph Black Moon that he better find her first. ("Immoral Mathematics")

Chief Many Horses prepared Pawnee Killer for the Sun Dance ceremony. With long leather straps attached from his chest to a lone tree, he spends a full day staring at the sun and praying. If successful, a vision will be granted him. Pawnee Killer collapses after completing the ceremony, telling Chief Many Horses that he was blessed with a vision of the "great steel beast," adding "I killed it." ("Bread and Circuses")
